The recruitment for the SSC Officer Posts (Short Service Commission Officer Posts) has been announced. The candidates who are eligible and want to join Indian Army can apply for the post. They will be able to apply by visiting the official website of Indian Army, that is, joinindianarmy.nic.in.
Both male and female candidates will be able to apply for the SSC Officer Posts. The last date is 4th June 2023.
For being eligible to apply for the post of the Judge of the Advocate General Branch in the Indian Army, the candidates must be a graduate in Law. There are a total of 8 vacancies for this post, among which 6 vacancies are for the male candidates and 2 vacancies are for the female candidates.
Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army SSC Officier Vacancies
The candidates who are interested in applying for the SSC Officer Posts must fulfil the following eligibility criteria-
- The candidates must have scored a minimum of 55% marks in the L.L.B. degree (either 3 years after graduation or 5 years after higher secondary)
- The candidates must have the eligibility to be registered as an advocate with the Bar Council of India or the Bar Council of the respective State.
- The candidates must have studied in a university or a college which has been recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- The candidates must be in between 21 years to 27 years of age in order to be eligible to apply.
Probation Period:
There will be a probation period of 6 months for the recruited SSC Officers. This period of 6 months will start from that date on which he or she will receive the commission. His or her services might be terminated at any time before or after expiry of the probation period, if it is reported that he or she is unsuitable for retaining the commission during the probation period.
Selection Process:
The candidates will be selected on the basis of a 2-stage selection process. The candidates who will be able to clear the 1st Stage will appear for the 2nd Stage (final stage) of the selection process. On the other hand, the candidates who will not be able to clear the 1st Stage cannot appear for the further selection process and will be disqualified.
