OUAT Admission Notice 2023:- Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology Bhubaneswar has stared online admission of the polytechnic, undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D degree programmes for the academic session 2023. The university is a considered university and situated at Bhubaneswar in Odisha. It conducts various courses under the UG and PG programmes.
OUAT conducts various programs like as BS.c agriculture, B.V.S.c, B. Tech agriculture engineering, BS.c horticulture, B.F.Sc., MS.c in Agri. economics, agronomy, plant breeding & Genetics entomology, social sc. & Agril. Chemistry, M.V.Sc. in surgery, pathology, veterinary clinical medicine, B. Tech in Farm machinery and various Ph.D programmes.
OUAT Admission Notice 2023 BS.c & Master graduate programmes
Odisha agriculture university takes admission for UG and PG courses through an entrance exam conducted by ICAR (Indian Council for Agriculture Research) every year. The session of August 2023 couldn’t start due to Covid–19 pandemics. University now going to start this session in January 2023.

OUAT eligibility criteria for bachelor courses (UG Programmes)
OUAT Admission Notice 2023:- BS.c Agriculture/Forestry/Horticulture/B.V.Sc./B Tech Ag. Engg./B.F.Sc:- Candidates should have passed 10+2 from a recognised board with the subject’s physics, chemistry, and maths / biology aggregate 50% marks. If candidates don’t have PCM or PCB in 12th class then they have to select optional subject PCM/PCB in 1st or 2nd semester.
Age limit– Applicants must complete minimum age of 17 years.
Reservation of seats – ICAR/VCI -15%, SC-8%, ST-12%, GCS-5%, PwD-5% and A.F.P.- 3%
Agro polytechnic pass out student’s admission process
Candidates who have passed the agro polytechnic and want to take admission in BS.c (hons.) their marks will be added following type.
Secondary class marks – 10%
Senior secondary (Science) – 10%
Diploma in Agro polytechnic from OUAT — 30%
Entrance exam conducted by ICAR — 50%
Total = 100%
Selection Process for UG Programmes
The selection in BS.c (Hons.) agriculture/horticulture B.F.Sc./B. Tech and B.V.Sc. is based upon the merit list in the common entrance exam. The entrance exam will be of 200 marks and multi-choice type question. There is no negative stamping in the entrance exam. The questions will carry from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in the ratio of 66:66:68 and each question will secure 1 mark.

First of all the candidates visit the OUAT official website http://ouat.nic.in/.
Next select the admission section for under graduate on home page.
Then log in to the admission section if you are registered already, if not then registered yourself and create a user ID and password or directly go to http://ouat-lokaseba-odisha.in/#/login.
Following this enter your E mail address phone number and password.
At this time you will get OTP on your phone number, enter the OTP and captcha.
Meanwhile on log in page on new window click on new application.
Afterward fill your correct details name, Aadhar id, e mail etc.
Finally submit the application and take the printout.

Eligibility for master Degree Courses:-
Aspirants who want to take admission in master’s degree courses should have pass BS.c, B.V.Sc., B.F.Sc., and B. Tech Agri. Engg. In their relevant subjects from the OUAT University or AICTE approved institute. Candidates should have a good OGPA for UR/EWS/OBC 6.0 out of 10.0 and 5.5 out of 10.0 for SC/ST.
