MPUAT Admission 2023:- Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture Science and technology, Udaipur conducts the entrance exam to admission in BS.c agriculture and MS.c agriculture through joint entrance test (JET) and pre PG test every year. The admission process depends on merit base exam in Bachelor of Science (Ag.) and post graduate (Ag.). Normally the academic session start from the month of July to June in two semesters. New admission process at the level of entrance exam can be done only in the starting of academic year in any programme. Candidates who have provide the wrong information in the applications can’t be allowed and can punished.

Education Eligibility Criteria for MPUAT admission 2023
BS.c Agriculture:- Applicants who are appearing in the joint entrance test, should be passed 12th class from a recognized university or board with the subject of Agriculture or science group with the 60% minimum marks. The prescribed recruitment percentage will be notified in the admission notification.
MS.c Agriculture:– MS.c in agriculture is done by a state-level Pre PG (Ag.) entrance exam also. For appearing in the test candidates should have passed BS.c agriculture degree examination from Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology, Udaipur with minimum of 60 % marks or 6.0./10.0 OGPA for General and 5.50/10.0 OGPA for Sc/St candidates.
MS.c Agri-Business:- Candidates should have a minimum qualification of bachelor degree in agriculture or agriculture engineering/ dairy science/ dairy technology/ home science/ horticulture/ forestry from an ICAR recognized university or institution with minimum 60% marks. For SC/ST candidate’s minimum percentage required 55%.
Ph.D (course work) :- Admission in PH.D program is based on Merit cum interview. Candidates who want to for this course must have an overall grade point average (OGPA) . For general candidates, OGPA should be 6.0 and for Sc/St 5.5 OGPA in concerned master degree.
Preparation of Merit List
BS.c Agriculture:– A combined merit list will be prepared on the basis of JET exam for all the colleges.
The central admission Committee of JET will assign the colleges from the merit list in order of preference. In merit base admission students having 75% in 10+2 are considered. Candidates who want to join on self finance base admission 60% marks in 10+2 are considered or merit base in 10+2 exam.
Ms.c Agriculture:– The entry for various courses will be completed stringently on the foundation of a common merit list composed for each category on the basis of marks secured in Pre. Pg entrance test. Applicants permitted for direct admission will be admitted on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
