The SSC CGL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level) Examination 2023 is going to be held from 29th May 2023 to 7th June 2023. Lakhs of candidates have filled up the application form for the SSC CGL Examination 2023 and are waiting eagerly for the examination to be conducted. But the examination has now been postponed because of the increasing cases of Covid-19 all over the country.
Also, the SSC CHSL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level) Examination which was going to occur in the state of West Bengal from 21st May 2023 has been postponed by SSC due to the elections in the state. The SSC CHSL Examination for the candidates of other states has also been stopped mid-way because of the sudden surge of the Covid-19 pandemic all over India.
The registration procedure for various other examinations that are conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) such as, Constable (GD) in NIA, CAPFs, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles Exam 2023 has also been deferred by the Staff Selection Commission which was going to occur in 1st week of May 2023. Earlier, this recruitment was scheduled to be declared in the month of March 2023, but it was then postponed till the 1st week of May 2023.
According to the SSC, the new dates of all the examinations that have been postponed will be declared and the new notification will also be declared by the Staff Selection Commission after the assessment of all the situations by the Commission in due course.
It was also said that, the candidates should visit the website of the SSC, that is, ssc.nic.in, regularly and if possible so that they can get updates and they do not miss any important information related to their examination.
Not only SSC has been postponed the SSC CHSL, SSC CGL and many other examinations but also many other organizations have postponed various examinations and recruitment procedures in view of the increasing cases of the Covid-19 all over the country.
